Baked potato
- Russet Potatoes
- Olive Oil
- Medium-Grain Salt
- For Garnish
- Unsalted Butter
- Black Peppercorn, ground
- Dried Cayenne Pepper, ground
- Cheddar Cheese, grated
- Sour Cream
- Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC).
- Vent potatoes by pricking skins with a fork.
- Coat with olive oil and salt.
- Bake 60 minutes, turning midway.
- Garnish and serve.
- Preheat oven to 400ºF (205ºC).
- Vent potatoes by cutting a cross into the full length of one side of the potato.
- Coat potato with olive oil and salt.
- Bake 2 hours until skin is dry and wrinkled.
- Garnish and serve.
