Baked potato

  • Russet Potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Medium-Grain Salt
  • For Garnish
    • Unsalted Butter
    • Black Peppercorn, ground
    • Dried Cayenne Pepper, ground
    • Cheddar Cheese, grated
    • Sour Cream
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC).
  2. Vent potatoes by pricking skins with a fork.
  3. Coat with olive oil and salt.
  4. Bake 60 minutes, turning midway.
  5. Garnish and serve.
  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF (205ºC).
  2. Vent potatoes by cutting a cross into the full length of one side of the potato.
  3. Coat potato with olive oil and salt.
  4. Bake 2 hours until skin is dry and wrinkled.
  5. Garnish and serve.
