Garlic shrimp

  • 1 1/2 T Olive Oil
  • 500 g Shrimp
  • 1/4 t Sea Salt
  • 1/4 t Celery Salt
  • 1/2 t Black Peppercorn, ground
  • 1/2 T Butter, cold
  • 6 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1/4 t Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 1/2 T Butter, cold, divided
  • 3 T Lemon Juice
  • 1 T Caper Brine
  • Water, as needed to thin sauce
  • Italian Parsley, chopped
  • For Serving
  1. Prepare ingredients before Mix lemon juice and caper brine.
  2. Sear shrimp. Heat olive oil in a heavy pan over high heat. When it starts to smoke, add the shrimp. Salt and saute 1 minute, salt. Toss to coat in oil until the outside of the shrimps have some color.
  3. Season while stirring continuously: add garlic and chili flakes, and cook 1 minute; stir in lemon-brine mixture, parsley, and butter; when butter is melted, reduce heat to low, add remaining butter, and stir until melted.
  4. Garnish with parsley and serve.
