Garlic shrimp
- 1 1/2 T Olive Oil
- 500 g Shrimp
- 1/4 t Sea Salt
- 1/4 t Celery Salt
- 1/2 t Black Peppercorn, ground
- 1/2 T Butter, cold
- 6 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1/4 t Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 1/2 T Butter, cold, divided
- 3 T Lemon Juice
- 1 T Caper Brine
- Water, as needed to thin sauce
- Italian Parsley, chopped
- For Serving
- Italian Parsley, chopped
- Laurel Rice
- Prepare ingredients before Mix lemon juice and caper brine.
- Sear shrimp. Heat olive oil in a heavy pan over high heat. When it starts to smoke, add the shrimp. Salt and saute 1 minute, salt. Toss to coat in oil until the outside of the shrimps have some color.
- Season while stirring continuously: add garlic and chili flakes, and cook 1 minute; stir in lemon-brine mixture, parsley, and butter; when butter is melted, reduce heat to low, add remaining butter, and stir until melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
