Yellow rice
- Spices
- 1/2 T Dried Turmeric Root, ground
- 1 t Cumin Seed, ground
- 1/4 t Cinnamon, ground
- 25 g Unsalted Butter
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 180 g Dry Jasmine Rice, rinsed
- 360 g Chicken Stock
- 1 Bay Leaf
- Mix spices in small bowl.
- Toast rice. Heat butter in frying pan over medium heat until fully heated. Add garlic. Stir. Cook 60 seconds. Add mixed spices. Stir. Cook 2 minutes. Add rice. Coat evenly. Cook 2 minutes.
- Cook rice. Empty rice into rice cooker. Add bay leaf and chicken stock. Cook until done.
Reduce the spices when you make the recipe for the first time.
