Yellow rice

  • Spices
    • 1/2 T Dried Turmeric Root, ground
    • 1 t Cumin Seed, ground
    • 1/4 t Cinnamon, ground
  • 25 g Unsalted Butter
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 180 g Dry Jasmine Rice, rinsed
  • 360 g Chicken Stock
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  1. Mix spices in small bowl.
  2. Toast rice. Heat butter in frying pan over medium heat until fully heated. Add garlic. Stir. Cook 60 seconds. Add mixed spices. Stir. Cook 2 minutes. Add rice. Coat evenly. Cook 2 minutes.
  3. Cook rice. Empty rice into rice cooker. Add bay leaf and chicken stock. Cook until done.

Reduce the spices when you make the recipe for the first time.
