Apple cream pie
- Filling
- 150 g White Sugar
- 15 g White Wheat Flour
- 1 t Cinnamon, ground
- 1 t Nutmeg, grated
- 120 g Heavy Whipping Cream or Milk
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 3 Green Apples, peeled, grated
- 110 g Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 Pie Crust
- Preheat oven to 400ºF (205ºC).
- Mix filling. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in milk and eggs until dry ingredients are incorporated.
- Layer pie. Spread grated apples on bottom of pie crust. Drizzle with butter. Pour filling over apples.
- Bake 10 minutes at 400ºF. Reduce heat to 350ºF (177ºC). Bake 30-40 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Cool 4 hours until room temperature.
