Inside out chocolate chip cookies

  • Wet Mix
    • 100 g Unsalted Butter, room temperature
    • 100 g White Sugar
    • 100 g Brown Sugar
    • 1 Egg, room temperature
    • 1 t Vanilla Extract
  • Batter
    • 125 g White Wheat Flour
    • 50 g Cocoa Powder, unsweetened
    • 1 t Baking Soda
    • 1/8 t Medium-Grain Salt
    • 15 g Milk
    • 225 g White Chocolate Chips
  1. Combine wet mix. Add butter, sugars to mixing bowl. Mix quickly until fluffy and light colored. Add egg, vanilla extract. Mix. Set aside as wet mix.
  2. Mix batter. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt to clean mixing bowl. Mix to combine. Slowly mixing, slowly add wet mix. Quickly mixing, add milk. Quickly mixing, add chocolate chips.
  3. Chill batter. Cover batter and bowl with plastic wrap. Chill 3-72 hours, ideally overnight.
  4. Prepare baking materials. Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC). Dress baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Rest batter 20 minutes at room temperature.
  6. Form dough balls. Shape dough balls with a tablespoon. Arrange 5-8 cm apart.
  7. Bake cookies 12 minutes at 350ºF.
  8. Rest cookies 5 minutes at room temperature.
