Banana bread
- Dry Mix
- 180 g White Wheat Flour
- 1 t Baking Soda
- 1 t Baking Powder
- 1/2 t Medium-Grain Salt
- 1/4 t Cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 t Nutmeg, grated
- 3 Ripe Bananas, peeled, mashed
- 180 g White Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 t Vanilla Extract
- 100 g Walnuts, toasted, chopped
- 30 g Milk
- Preheat oven to 325ºF (163ºC).
- Combine dry mix. Whisk together flour mixture. Set aside.
- Mix batter. Combine mashed bananas, sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk 2 minutes until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth and creamy. Mix in walnuts, milk, and flour mixture until just combined.
- Shape loaf. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake 60 minutes at 325ºF until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool 20 minutes before removing from loaf pan.
