Beer bread

  • 360 g White Wheat Flour
  • 1 T Baking Powder
  • 1 t Medium-Grain Salt
  • 300 g Beer
  • 60 g Honey or Brown Sugar
  • 90 g Unsalted Butter, cold, divided into 8 slices
  1. Preheat oven to 190ºC (375ºF). Grease loaf pan with butter.
  2. Mix batter. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour in the beer and honey, and mix until just combined.
  3. Bake. Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Arrange the butter slices on top. Bake 45-55 minutes until the top of the bread is lightly browned.
