Elise's pizza dough
- 2 t Active Dry Yeast
- 240 g Water, warm (30ºC)
- 3/4 t White Sugar
- 1 1/4 t Medium-Grain Salt
- 25 g Vegetable Oil
- 315 g White Wheat Flour
Yields one large pizza or two medium pizzas.
- Activate yeast. Add yeast, sugar, water in mixing bowl. Mix. Rest 10 minutes until yeast activates.
- Mix dough. Add oil and salt. Gradually add flour and mix until dough is no longer sticky.
- Rise dough. Cover dough in bowl with a warm, damp towel. Rest 30 minutes.
- Shape dough into two 30 cm (12") circles or one 40 cm (16") circle.
