Pancakes
- 180 g White Wheat Flour
- 2 1/2 t Baking Powder
- 1 t Medium-Grain Salt
- 1 T White Sugar
- 300 g Milk
- 1 Egg
- Neutral Oil, for greasing
- For Serving
- Butter
- Maple Syrup
Ingredients yield 4 servings.
- Mix batter. Sift dry ingredients, and whisk to combine. Whisk in milk and egg until dry ingredients are just combined.
- Rest 5 minutes to allow baking powder time to react the fluids at an even pace.
- Preheat thin coat of oil in heavy pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook. Dividing as necessary, pour 60 g batter per pancake. When bubbles begin to rise through the middle of the pancake, flip, and continue cooking until fully set.
- Serve with butter and maple syrup.
